Bodyfix Physio is a fully equipped clinic specialising in Sports and Musculoskeletal pain and injuries. We are based on the Terrace in the Heart of Wellington CBD. All our ACC and Private sessions are 40 minutes. This gives us the time to fully assess, treat and get your recovery started from day one. Our primary aim is to get you moving better and stronger than before using the best evidence based treatment.

Our physio John over a decade of experience as a Sports and Musculoskeletal physio. Alongside his Bachelor of Physiotherapy, he has completed a Post graduate Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine. This includes further training in the diagnostics and management of all sports and exercise related injuries. He has also completed post graduate education in The McKenzie method for Back and neck pain, Trigger Point Dry Needling for musculoskeletal pain and extra courses in the management of lower limb tendinopathies. He has also toured as a physio with international and regional football teams.

In his youth, John represented New Zealand himself as a football player. He continued playing through his 20s and has now transitioned to his new passion of Distance running. Now he runs anything from 5ks to 100k Ultras. Both these sports were an interest area during his post grad studies and have given him expertise in the management of football and running related issues. John has continued to up skill in areas including run training and powerlifting based strength training.

All this can combine to not just treat your injury but also reduce weaknesses predisposing you to injury in the first place. We can then provide you with the training basis to progress further in your sport or just day to day life with less pain and injury.
